Two at the top for Moore

When Washington offered Bellevue (Wa.) DT Julious Moore it seemed it was only a matter of time before the talented interior defensive lineman committed to the Huskies, but after he started hearing from more schools he took a step back and on Tuesday night he told that two schools are tied for the lead...

"UCLA and Washington are tied right now," Moore admitted. "I really like both of them and it's not something that is real close to being decided right now.

"I was really feeling Washington a lot early on, but then UCLA offered and my coaches said the academics there are great and that I need to check it out before I really decide anything."

Besides the offers from the Huskies and Bruins, Moore also has an offer from Washington State and said that schools like Oregon, Oregon State, USC and Boise State have also been eyeing him as well.

As a junior in 2008, Moore started on both sides of the ball for the Wolverines, but he made his name as a defensive tackle, notching 55 tackles and 8 sacks for a team that went 14-0 and won the Washington 3A State Championship.

"I get off fast and have great quickness," Moore told earlier this year. "I'm very aggressive too and like being very physical out there."

Moore said he plans to take in the UCLA camp in June and will visit Washington during the summer as well. He also said he'd like to make his decision in August so he can concentrate on his senior season.

He is well on his way to qualifying and he plans to take the SAT in June.

We'll continue to follow Moore's progress during the coming weeks and months and update news as it happens.
