Simpson still solid with Washington?

Clarence Simpson, a 6-3, 175-pound cornerback from Sylmar, California went to UCLA this weekend to check things out. He was a surprise visitor to Westwood, having previously verbally committed to the University of Washington. What did Clarence have to say about his visit and his commitment?

"I went to UCLA this weekend because my family wanted me to go and see what they have to offer and it was cool," Simpson told Matt Ware was Clarence's host. "He was great. He told me how they love tall corners and how there would be a great opportunity for me there if I went there. And he's a big corner too."

Yet, when the weekend was over, Simpson's heart was still in Seattle. "I'm still committed to Washington," he said. "I wanted to see what UCLA had, but Washington is just a better fit for me. I like the coaches and players there and Seattle is a beautiful city. It was a great experience for me being up there."
