Wright considering Husky visit

It's been a while since Dawgman.com caught up with Corona DB Demetrius Wright and there have been some recent developments regarding his recruitment. The talented corner has set up his first official visit and while he plans to visit the Huskies he said he hasn't quite set things up yet, but that could just be a matter of time...

"I set up my official visit to Tennessee on September 19th," Wright said. "I'm still thinking about when I want to visit the other schools and Washington is the one I pretty much have planned, but I haven't set it up yet.

"I'd like to visit them for the LSU game on September 5th, but I have to just see how things work out. I know I'm visiting them, I'm just not sure of the date yet."

Wright also noted that USC, Arizona and Florida are where he plans to take his last three visits.

Joining Wright on his visit to Washington could be his teammate Jordon James who has four visits set up and is trying to decide between the Huskies, Cal and Tennessee.

"I'm going to chat with him about things and find out where he's leaning on that last visit," Wright said. "If it's Washington, then I'll try and get him to come up with me. I know it will be a lot of fun for that game with ESPN there and all of the hype heading into it especially with the new staff there."

Wright said he plans to chat with Husky DB coach Demetrice Martin to finalize things and should know in the next week or so when his official visit to Seattle will actually be.
