Huskies make top three for Levingston

One of the up-and-coming offensive line prospects on the west coast this summer has been Narbonne (Harbor City, Ca.) OG Dontae Levingston. spoke with the talented prospect recently and he updated us on things including which three schools have made the cut for him...

"I've got a top three," Levingston told recenlty. "Washington, Oregon and SMU are the three I'm going to visit and then make my decision on."

In addition to those three schools, Levingston has offers from Florida, Wyoming, Nevada, San Diego State and New Mexico and is getting interest from most of the rest of the Pac 10 as well.

"I'm really just enjoying the process," Levingston said. "I have a great relationship with coach (Demetrice) Martin. We talk a lot and my friend, Sean Parker, he's up there now and we're pretty tight, so he's been telling me about the program and why he decided to go there.

"Coach Martin is trying to figure out an official visit date for me, but I have to get my transcripts to them before we can do that and I have to wait to talk to my school so they can send them."

Levingston said he plans to take official visits to all three schools and then will sit down with his coaches and family before he makes his decision.

"I just want to find the right place for me, but the fact that Sean is up there definitely makes me like Washington a lot," Levingston said. "I mean, I would already know someone there so that's definitely a plus for them.

"I also really like coach (Dan) Cozzetto who would be my position coach. I think I could really get better playing for him.

"Sean tells me how great Seattle is, so I definitely want to get up there and see it for myself."

We'll have more from Levingston as he continues through the recruiting process.
