Finishing the Deal

Wide receiver Tavon Austin noted that West Virginia's rally against Marshall was simply a matter of completing drives

"We got down there, but we just couldn't get it in," Tavon Austin said of several Mountaineer drives through three quarters.

Among the problems hindering the Mountaineers were the inability to convert short yardage plays on third and fourth downs, turnovers, and mental mistakes.

Austin had nine catches for 85 yards against the Herd, with four of those for 39 yards coming on West Virginia's game-tying final drive.

In this interview, Austin discusses those factors, the changeover in play-signaling at halftime, and takes us inside the huddle on the final drives.
