Offensive line coach Dave Johnson faced a big enough challenge with LSU's defensive line without possible absences along his line.

With starter Josh Jenkins likely out following a minor knee procedure early this week, offensive line coach Dave Johnson has to deploy a reconfigured line to face an LSU defensive front that can present multiple looks.

Johnson, however, faces the task calmly, with an analytic approach to the problem. He played Chad Snodgrass in Jenkins' spot early, then slid Eric Jobe over to that spot, replacing Jobe with Cole Bowers at right guard.

In this interview, Johnson reveals his thinking on the lineup he plans to deploy against the Tigers, and discusses LSU's ability to play three- and four-man defensive fronts with the same level of effectiveness.
