Kevin Jones has been an outstanding player during his two seasons at West Virginia. The Mount Vernon, N.Y. native has filled every role that's been asked of him while helping propel WVU to 54 wins over the past two seasons. There's still one slot that Jones hasn't filled yet, however -- that of the "go-to guy".
There's not reason to think the multi-talented Jones can't do that, but it will be the biggest challenge he faces as he becomes the face of the WVU program. Head coach Bob Huggins believes that Jones can do it, but also notes that the outstanding junior has to be sure to stick with doing what he does best, and not try to do those things that are outside his comfort zone.
In this interview, Jones ponders "being the man", and discusses other aspects of the upcoming basketball season.
