IMG Basketball Academy is intensive about hoop. If you want to get better, the support systems are in place to take your game to the next level. Shooting guard Danny Morrissey is taking full advantage.
"I love it here actually," Morrissey said. "You can't go anywhere else and get the type of attention you get here. They just give you every opportunity to get better."
For Morrissey, getting better brings bigger offers. So far, just Dayton has extended a grant offer to him but Indiana, Ohio State, North Carolina State, Georgia Tech, Florida State, Xavier and West Virginia have shown interest.
Dayton had him on campus in late February for his first official visit. "The coaching staff is full of great guys," Morrissey said.
The guard also went on an unofficial visit to Indiana when the Hoosiers played rival Iowa.
Though he's regarded as a shooter, Morrissey isn't against playing more than one spot in college. "I can also play the one. But, a lot of schools recruiting me say they need a shooter."
His spring will begin at the Boo Williams Invitational with the Tallahassee Wildcats. He'll also play some events with the Cleveland Basketball Club.
