It's a common mantra from WVU's basketball team these days, and Jonnie West was the latest to chime in with it after the Mountaineers dropped their Big East opener.
Jonnie West admitted that West Virginia's poor play was "our fault" -- echoing the theme of most of West Virginia's players after its ugly 81-71 loss to St. John's on Wednesday.
"A lot of it was on us. We didn't do the things that we need to do, and we need to make them right. It wasn't really a wake-up call. We knew Big East play was coming," West said.
In this interview, a quiet and reserved West reiterated the statements of past weeks -- this Mountaineer basketball team simply doesn't do the things it needs to do in order to win.
