Brooks, who still works in southern West Virginia, took advantage of WVU's basketball alumni weekend to meet some players he had never spoken with before. Those new connections made him feel even closer to West Virginia than ever before.
"I met Wil Robinson, and that was the first time I had the chance to do that. He was All-American here," said Brooks. "I feel more a part of WVU than even when I was up here. I would come to games, but I feel more a part of the program now than ever."
