Urban Renewal

Tyler Urban's "move" from tight end to slot might end up being the most positive switch of his career.

Urban, who went to both offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen and receivers coach Shannon Dawson to learn what his role might be in their offense, couldn't stop smiling as he discussed the results of the first week of West Virginia's spring drills.

Urban admits that playing in space is a challenge for him after getting into most of his routes as a tight end, but he sees the potential of playing split away from the tackle in the offense. During the first three practices of the spring, Urban has caught a number of passes and appears to be a match-up problem for defenses.

In this interview, the Pennsylvania native discusses the move and looks forward to getting in pads this week.
