Positive Return

"I loved everything about it," said a Florida wide receiver prospect who visited West Virginia over the weekend.

Travares Copeland made his first trip to the West Virginia campus over the weekend, and found no negatives on the visit. Saying that he "loved everything" about the campus and the school, he put WVU high on his list of interest. However, he still plans to take additional visits.

"I've visited Rutgers and West Virginia, and Kentucky and Florida International are the other two schools in my top four," Copeland said after returning from the visit. "I will wait to make my decision on Signing Day."

Copeland could also take a fifth official visit, but has not decided if he will do so, or what schools might be in the mix.

Copeland has played quarterback at Treasure Coast High School, where he earned third team All-State and first team All-Area honors. In college, he has potential at a number of positions, including wide receiver and possibly defensive back. He played receiver at some camps, and shows excellent quickness and elusiveness in the open field.
