Morgantown police chief Ed Preston said Bryant refused medical attention and would not give a statement to officers. Preston said any description of Bryant's injuries would not be public record, and as such, refused to divulge any details.
According to Preston, Bryant's attorney James A. "Rocky" Gianola has since informed police that Bryant has declined to press charges. The case is now officially considered closed.
UPDATE:West Virginia issues a short statement on the matter later on Monday.
"We're aware of the situation," Bob Huggins said in a prepared statement. "Truck (Bryant) is fine and we look forward to playing Thursday at Pitt."
