Bradshaw Enjoys WVU Camp

Stafford Senior High School's John Bradshaw had an excellent experience at West Virginia's summer football camp.

"It was great, and I learned a lot," John Bradshaw said of his time at West Virginia earlier this week. "They showed me a lot of little techniques, like getting into and out of my stance, and my hand position, and things like that."

WVU offensive line coach Rick Trickett guided a number of line campers during the week, and Bradshaw was impressed with Trickett's knowledge base.

"He really knows what he's doing," Bradshaw said of the veteran coach. "He's always coaching you, and I respond to his coaching style well."

Bradshaw said WVU would likely be his only stop on the summer camp trail, and he now wants to look forward to his senior season.

"I'll stay at guard on offense and play some defensive tackle, but I'm pretty sure I'll be on the offensive line in college. We're mainly a running team, so I think the offensive line is where I'll end up."

Bradshaw says "West Virgina, Virginia Tech, North Carolina and Northwestern" are four of his top schools at the moment. And while he's not ready to make a decision just yet, he says that the ACC/Big East conference wars will play no part in his decision.
