Damian Nicholson claims that he keeps a tight circle of trusted friends on Twitter, but he certainly didn't leave them guessing during his visit to West Virginia on Saturday. The Osbourn Park (Va.) High School player sent several messages about his excitement level, and even included a photo of his post-visit meal at a Morgantown restaurant. Although he wasn't ready to claim the title of world's busiest tweeter, he was quick to confirm all that he liked about the visit.
"The facilities were great, and I really felt at home with all of that stuff," he said. "The field was the best part of course! And I knew WVU's fans were great but the really are a family!"
Nicholson met with defensive backs coach Daron Roberts on his visit. Roberts would be Nicholson's position coach if he committed to WVU -- but he isn't ready to make that decision yet.
"West Virginia is still my top school. I still look forward to more visits there before I make my decision if it is to WVU."
Nicholson also has an offer from East Carolina, and is interested in Virginia, Virginia Tech and Ohio State. He does not have any other visits planned at the moment.
