Video: Player Emergence

WVU assistant coaches Bill Bedenbaugh and Shannon Dawson have more in common than a presence on the offensive side of the football. Both Mountaineer coaches have a few solid starters, but are searching to find players to perform in backup roles -- and perhaps more.

Bedenbaugh has slowly been building competition along the offensive line, and is seeing the beginnings of a payoff this fall. One of the players making progress is Curtis Feigt, who has moved into position to challenge for playing time, and perhaps a starting spot, along the offensive line.

Dawson is likewise encouraged, and while he may not have the full eight-player rotation he wants, thinks that the addition of freshmen and redshirt freshmen to his list of available players should make the Mountaineers flexible at receiver.
