Video: Basketball Interviews 12/3

Bob Huggins has always said he prefers to schedule tough teams in nonconference play. His Mountaineers get another solid early test on Wednesday night in Charleston, when WVU takes on Marshall in the annual Capital Classic.

Senior Deniz Kilicli said there have been many factors that have gone into his personal slow start to the season, but that he has confidence both he -- and the entire West Virginia team -- can get things turned around.

Transfer Matt Humphrey, who sat out the VMI game due to an injured shoulder, said he has practiced every day since that game, feels fine and expects to be able to play against Marshall.
