Video: WVU - Marshall Women's Postgame

WVU women's head basketball coach Mike Carey may have set a postgame record with the number of references he used regarding his team's lack of energy in its 64-48 win over Marshall.

While Carey was obviously o.k. with the win, he was critical of his team's lack of hustle and competitive play. He likely could have gone on for longer than the game itself, had he not been ready to get back to Morgantown with his team.

Sophomore forward Crystal Leary drew praise from Carey as one of the few players to compete with energy in the game. She finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds, and but noted that West Virginia's effort was far from what it should have been.

Freshman Bria Holmes had one of her best games of the season, scoring a team-high 15 points. She noted that WVU is still a work in progress, what with five freshmen on the roster trying to find their roles and fit in with the veterans on the team.
