Premium Video: Marshall Postgame

West Virginia made just two shots outside the lane in its 69-59 win over Marshall, but the Mountaineer guards managed to contribute in other ways in the win.

Juwan Staten missed all four of his medium- and long-range shots, but still managed to produce 12 points on an assortment of drives to the hoop. He described West Virginia's game plan and Marshall's defensive tactics as two reasons for the plan to get the ball into the lane against the Herd.

Gary Browne's play off the bench continues to energize West Virginia, and the sophomore said he is fully embracing that role, which is leading to just as many minutes on the court as the starters. Browne's seven points, five rebounds and rugged defensive play helped spark the Mountaineers through a rough early patch in the win.
