Video: Texas Tech Postgame

It was telling that West Virginia head coach Bob Huggins chose to bring a pair of freshmen out for interviews following the Mountaineers' 71-69 loss to Texas Tech in the first round of the big 12 Championships.

The pair, who will be counted on to provide better leadership on a team starved for it, were clearly the ones on which Huggins is hoping to build his future team. Clearly, he needs this year's sophomores to improve and bounce back from this season, but he sent a message by his choice of that pair.

Harris pulled no punches in later comments to He indicated that this team didn't gel or work well on the court together, and that it will be on everyone, not just upperclassmen, to fix the problem.

Terry Henderson was a bit less sure as to how to fix the problems, but agreed that the brunt of the weight falls on the players to get them corrected.
