Video: Spring Game Postgame

Fans got their first glimpse at WVU's 2013 football team at Saturday's spring game, but head coach Dana Holgorsen cautioned immediately after it concluded that the roster could look quite different when the season begins this fall.

Defensive coordinator Keith Patterson was largely pleased with what he saw from his unit after the game. He said he wanted to see how effectively his players could execute the "base" scheme, and especially liked the way the defense generated a pass rush without elaborate blitz packages.

Offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson said he wants to see decisiveness from his quarterbacks -- even if it occasionally means a less-than-ideal decision gets made. Both Paul Millard and Ford Childress have a while to go before claiming the starting job, but they showed signs of real progress this spring, he said.
