Narrowing It Down

Heading into the final three days of preseason camp, West Virginia head coach Dana Holgorsen believes he is starting to get closer to solidifying his depth chart heading into the season opener.

In his Thursday press conference, Holgorsen discussed the WVU quarterback battle. The third-year head coach said he believes by the time the Mountaineers wrap up camp at the end of the week, he will have made his decision about a starting signal caller.

Also in the video below, he mentions that receivers Connor Arlia and Will Johnson have left the team. Arlia caught seven passes for 43 yards last season while Johnson redshirted.

He also said that several players, including wide receiver Kevin White, have been dinged up and are day-to-day but other than the players who have been in red the last few days, none of the injuries are serious.
