BGN Video: Huggins Press Conference

WVU head coach Bob Huggins was pleased with some parts of his team's 77-62 win over Mount St. Mary's, but noted that the lack of rebounding was "a team effort".

Using a smaller lineup that drew West Virginia's bigs away from the basket, Mount St. Mary's was able to drive the lane with near impunity at times. The trailing WVU big men didn't get on the boards well, as the quintet combined for just 15 rebounds.

Still, the home Mountaineers kept the game under control throughout, and sparked by a highly efficient Juwan Staten, got West Virginia on the right side of the win-loss column.

In the post game interview, Huggins discussed the positives and negatives of the opener.
