Cronkrite Plans West Virginia Visit

West Virginia will play host to the first of two junior days of 2014 this weekend, and a talented four-star running back from Florida plans to be in attendance.

Jordan Cronkrite (Miami, Fla.) is one of Florida's top running backs for the class of 2015. The 5-foot-11, 190 pound running back, plans to make a trip to West Virginia this weekend for the Mountaineers' first junior day.

"I'm heading up to West Virginia on Friday with my dad, and I'm really excited," Cronkrite said. "So we'll fly in on Friday. I'm not visiting any other schools up there, just West Virginia."

Cronkrite, who holds offers from powerhouse universities such as Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Florida State, is excited to see what the Mountaineers have to offer first hand.

"I think West Virginia is a great school," Cronkrite described. "I know it's different from the Florida schools or the Florida scene, which is nice. I'm going up to see it first hand and I'm wanting to see a different environment up there."

"I like West Virginia a lot," he continued. "I've been watching them on television and things. I still need to look into them more which is why I'm making this trip. That way I can get an idea of which schools I want to look hard into."

Leading the charge in his recruitment for the Mountaineers is running backs coach JaJuan Seider, and the two have bonded quickly.

"I talk to him a lot and he seems like a great guy," Cronkrite said. "He's always been honest with me and is someone I could see myself playing for."

As a junior, Cronkrite rushed for more than 1,500 yards and 15 touchdowns. He is rated a four-star prospect by and the 25th best player in the nation at the running back position.
