The Buckhannon, W.Va., native won both of his individual races, setting two new school records in both the 50 free (19.32) and 100 free (42.92). Both of his individual event times also qualified for the NCAA "B" cut. For his performance at the meet, the conference named him the Men's Outstanding Swimmer of the Meet.
Squires was also part of four relay teams that set four new school records. Squires closing split of 19.09 in the 200 free relay helped earn a NCAA "A" cut time of 1:17.87, automatically qualifying the team for the NCAA Championships. The other three relay teams all qualified for the NCAA "B" cut.
