BGN Video: WVU Pro Day

After months of training, former members of the West Virginia football team got the chance to work out in front of scouts from 15 different NFL teams at the Caperton Indoor Practice Facility Friday afternoon.

Among the former Mountaineers working out were several former West Virginia football players as well, including running backs Noel Devine and Ryan Clarke and defensive back Cecil Level.

The players did agility drills before moving onto positional workouts for the scouts.

Charles Sims and Will Clarke did not participate in the early drills, opting to use their times from the NFL Scouting Combine for the scouts.

Devine ran an unofficial 4.27 40-yard dash. Other notable times in the 40-yard dash came from safety Darwin Cook (4.47), offensive lineman Pat Eger (5.19), wide receiver Ivan McCartney (4.57), linebacker Doug Rigg (4.63) and defensive lineman Shaq Rowell (5.23).

Scouts in attendance were from the Kansas City Chiefs, Cincinnati Bengals, Philadelphia Eagles, Buffalo Bills, Houston Texans, Arizona Cardinals, Pittsburgh Steelers, Miami Dolphins, San Diego Chargers, Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts, New York Jets and the New Orleans Saints.
