Cards make final 10 for Florida WR

Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., Dwyer three-star wide receiver Tavares Martin released his top 10 list of schools on Wednesday. Among the schools on the list was the University of Louisville. Cardinal Authority has the latest on Martin.

After recently saying he was "intrigued" by the University of Louisville's need for wide receivers in the Class of 2015, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., Dwyer three-star receiver Tavares Martin released his top 10 on Wednesday.

And the Cardinals made the cut.

The 6-foot-2, 170-pound Martin tweeted his list of 10 schools, noting they were in "no certain order," that included U of L, Ohio State, Alabama, Florida Atlantic, Nebraska, Kentucky, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan State and West Virginia.

Martin transferred from John I. Leonard High to Dwyer High in January. He has recorded over 2,000 yards combined the past two seasons at Leonard. He posted 926 yards and nine touchdowns on 52 receptions in 2012 and then had more than 1,000 yards last season.

Martin is also a big-time kick returner.
