VIDEO: Macon, Carter kick off Pro-Am

The Pittsburgh Pro-Am is the first chance every season for those in attendance to see how much players have improved, while also getting a view of what to expect from a handful of newcomers.

Two of those West Virginia newcomers in attendance for the first night of the league Monday night were forward Elijah Macon and guard Jevon Carter.

Macon, of course, was on campus last year but will finally be eligible to play in 2014-15. After the game, he talked about getting to play in China and what he learned while waiting for his chance to be able to suit up for WVU.

Carter is a true freshman who is hoping to spend a lot of time learning under Juwan Staten this season while trying to adjust to life in college with classes and the weight training.
