Pompano Beach (Fla.) wide receiver Therrell Gosier isn’t quite finished with his recruitment process, despite making a commitment last month.
Only a few weeks since announcing his verbal pledge to Miami (Fla.), the 6-6 wideout declared his intention to take all five of his allowable official visits.
In late May Gosier announced a top three of Clemson, West Virginia and Kentucky with the intention of making a commitment shortly thereafter. He delayed that decision, but then received an offer from the Hurricanes days later, and reversed course yet again with a pledge to UM.
The Mountaineers, though, have been a school of choice for a while — in large part because of Gosier’s relationship with running backs coach JaJuan Seider.
“West Virginia shows me a lot of love, with coach Seider,” Gosier recently told Scout.com. “That’s the main reason I like them, because they show a lot of love.”
Whether the Mountaineers can flip his commitment remains to be seen, but having continued interest from Gosier keeps the option open.
“West Virginia has always been a school I like,” Gosier explained. “I want to get up there and visit, then we’ll see what happens.”
Gosier is rated a three-star prospect by Scout.com
