Shuler Finds Home At West Virginia

West Virginia received another commitment following its thrilling 41-27 win over No. 4 Baylor on Saturday.

There was little doubt West Virginia was where Longwood (Fla.) defensive end Adam Shuler wanted to play college football. And shortly after witnessing the Mountaineers upset No. 4 ranked Baylor he decided to make his intentions public.

“Just committed to West Virginia,” Shuler stated on twitter. BlueGoldNews.com has since confirmed those plans that Shuler has received, and accepted, a full scholarship offer.

“I chose West Virginia because it just felt right,” Shuler told BlueGoldNews.com. “Everything seemed like it fit me.”

Shuler (6-5, 255 lbs.) chose West Virginia over additional offers from Massachusetts, Purdue, Indiana and Cincinnati.

He becomes the 21st commitment for the class of 2015 and the third along the defensive line joining fellow Floridian Alec Shriner and Huber Heights (Oh.) tackle Robert Landers.

BlueGoldNews.com will have more on Shuler’s commitment, including in-depth analysis, soon.
