WVU's Assistants Wrap Up Baylor; Look Ahead

West Virginia assistant coaches Joe DeForest and Lonnie Galloway have helped mold some very talented players into the top performers at the their respective positions in the nation.

Since joining the WVU staff in 2008, Lonnie Galloway has helped mold real talent at West Virginia University. Both Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey are making waves in the NFL, and Mario Alford and Kevin White are creating headlines in college football this year. Galloway discussed how this year's receivers have made long strides to become one of the top duos in the nation.

Josh Lambert is 4-4 on field goals of more than 50 yards, Nick O'Toole is averaging 43 yards per punt, and Joe DeForest is proud of their accomplishments. He also recognizes the deficiencies in the punt return game, and acknowledges that there is still work to be done in identifying and coaching a consistent return man.
