West Virginia faces its fourth top 10 team in nine games this weekend against TCU, which comes off an 82-point ripping of Texas Tech. Here, head coach Dana Holgorsen details the Horned Frogs on all three sides of the ball, and notes the most imperative aspects for WVU to pull the upset and position itself to challenge for the Big 12 title.
Holgorsen said TCU means defense, and that head coach Gary Patterson is among the best defensive minds in the nation. He also lauded the Horned Frogs' defensive line and safeties, then discussed an offense averaging more than 50 points per game to lead the nation. Holgorsen also noted that TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin is the "most improved player in the country," and that a year ago he thought Boykin was the best wideout on the field.
