Gibson and Worley Discuss Troubles At Texas

It was apparent to Tony Gibson that some of his players were down during warmups, but on game day there wasn't much he felt he could do to correct it.

Tony Gibson said it was brought to his attention that a few players may have have had a "TCU Hangover," but the assistant coach could not do much on game day. The defensive coordinator said if a player can't get up to play at a venue like Texas, than there wasn't anything he could say or do to help them prepare. His deispleasure extended to his team's play in the first half, as he noted that the defense "might as well have stayed on the bus" in the first half.

Cornerback Daryl Worley did finish with eight tackles and an interception, but his performance was not enough to bring home a win. The cornerback said the defense knew everything the Longhorns were going to do, but a lack of execution kept it from a winning performance..
