Huggins Details Exhibition Win Over Shepherd

West Virginia played sloppy, uninspired basketball for the better part of a half in the 109-60 win over Shepherd. Here, head coach Bob Huggins details the effort and execution of the contest, as well as speaks to the performance of individual players.

Huggins noted after the game, a blowout in which six Mountaineers reached double figures with four others scoring at least eight points, that he could see as many as 13 players vying for legit time. That makes the continuity a bit more difficult, but as Huggins explains below, those extra numbers mean fresher bodies with which to play a more uptempo, press-and-run style - which typically equates to easy baskets one way or another.
