BGN Video: Coaches Dissect WVU's win over ISU

West Virginia was able to overcome a 21-7 deficit early Saturday to come back to take down Iowa State in its regular season finale.

After the victory, defensive coordinator Tony Gibson and offensive line coach Ron Crook broke down the keys to the win with members of the media.

Gibson talked about West Virginia's decision to only rush three most of the game, citing that he felt the Mountaineer cornerbacks weren't ready to play early on. He decided it would be best to possibly give up some in the pass rush in order to keep enough players in coverage to help limit the Cyclones.

Crook saw some improvements with his younger backups on the offensive line, determining they were ready to contribute more in the absence of senior offensive guard Quinton Spain. Crook also broke down the difference in blocking for a dual-threat quarterback like Skyler Howard.
