Huggins Previews WVU-NC State Match-up

West Virginia had a solid New York pipeline for years under head coach Bob Huggins before the move to the Big 12 forced a change in the recruiting base. But even now, the Mountaineers make an effort to get back to Madison Square Garden, both for the exposure a game like the Gotham Classic can bring, and the potential player pool in the city as well.

Here, Huggins discusses those changes, the flavor of the New York and what it offers his program as well as WVU's current players and the Wolfpack's ability to hit shots and break pressure. Huggins also notes the game breakdown of the NC State-Wofford contest, which was beneficial because West Virginia next faces the Terriers in a Saturday-Monday turnaround - the same timetable the team will be on when it opens Big 12 play at TCU and Texas Tech on Jan. 3 and 5.
