Huggins Details WVU Blowout Of Oklahoma

What a difference a few days - and a vastly different match-up - make. West Virginia forced Oklahoma into 22 turnovers, and sliced and diced the Sooner defense for a sizzling 50 percent from the field, and 62.5 percent from three, in the blowout win. Here, head coach Bob Huggins dissects the difference in the Mountaineer press over the last two games and discusses his frontcourt.

The win, much needed with WVU looking at a key road game at Texas looming, boosted the Mountaineers to 15-2 overall, and 3-1 in the Big 12. But, per the typical Huggins thought process, the coach noted he'd be much happier at 17-0, and that he, perhaps correctly, believes West Virginia should be. Still, the win was as impressive as any this season, and Huggins seemed quite pleased in delving into his team's pressure, the difference in his frontcourt play this game, the non-scoring abilities of point guard Juwan Staten and more.
