“It was definitely a great football visit,” Jennings said. “I got to talk with a lot of the coaches and players and different recruits. It was an all around great time.”
On Saturday, Jennings and the other visitors took in the Mountaineers' basketball gave versus TCU, along with learning more about the football side of things while sitting with his lead recruiter, Lonnie Galloway.
“I got to actually watch film with Coach Galloway and see what they do,” Jennings explained. “I know what they’ve done but it reiterated it to me. I mean Skyler Howard who was my host sat in with us as well. “
While on his visit the WVU coaching staff made their message quite clear to the 6-foot-2, 190-pound, receiver.
“They basically reiterated that the wide out spot is a necessity right now,” Jennings explained. “I’m at the top of their leaderboard and that’s what they drove home with me.”
Having already taken official visits to Notre Dame and Virginia, Jennings will now focus on his final official visit to North Carolina next weekend before honing in on a decision.
“I actually have a visit set up next weekend to UNC and then I’ll see how my decision is determined by that final visit.”
Scout.com rates Jennings a three-star prospect and the No. 96 wide receiver in the country.
