Wilson Flips To WVU

West Virginia received their 22nd commitment in the class of 2015 when Coral Gables (Fla.) wide receiver Shaquery Wilson pledged to the Mountaineers.

West Virginia continued their strong recruiting efforts on Wednesday, flipping the commitment of wide receiver Shaquery Wilson from Georgia.

“Yes, I’ve switched my commitment to West Virginia,” Wilson confirmed to BlueGoldNews.com.

Wilson, 6-foot-2, 190-pounds, held offer from many top programs across the country including Florida, Louisville, Wisconsin and Georgia among others.

Despite his commitments to Georgia, the Mountaineers have been extremely active in his recruitment. This past weekend he took an official visit to West Virginia, which was quickly followed up by an in-home visit Monday evening.

Scout.com ranks Wilson the No. 62 wide receiver in the country and the 11th best in the state of Florida. He joins fellow Floridian’s Jovon Durante and Khalil Lewis as wide receiver commits in the class.

BlueGoldNews.com will have more on this commitment soon.
