More WVU Recruiting Review: Galloway & Crook

West Virginia signed another solid - though not spectacular - football recruiting class on Wednesday. Ranked within the top 30, the Mountaineer haul was pretty standard for the school, but addressed needs. As always, the biggest key will be player development. Here, assistants Lonnie Galloway and Ron Crook discuss that aspect, and detail their individual recruits.

Galloway, who has been very successful working the Maryland area for WVU, gained significant help at a depleted wideout spot with the additions of Gary Jennings, Jovon Durante and Ka'Raun White. Here, Galloway speaks to the fine line between balancing talent versus a player's desire to commit and remain committed to a school, along with not getting caught up in the ranking systems of various recruiting services. Galloway also dissects the recruiting landscape today, and how coaches might be changing a bit in terms of often waiting until the last days to attempt to get kids to sign.

Crook, who gained a much-needed five offensive lineman in the class, gives some detail on each player, speaks to the development of technique, talks about the added depth and numbers and gives some insights as to his expectations for the players in terms of work ethic and maximizing their individual talents and traits.
