Huggins Reviews WVU Victory Over Texas

You'll pardon Bob Huggins if he doesn't yet think No. 20 West Virginia is the toast of the Big 12 after knocking off Texas for a third consecutive league win to stay within striking distance of Kansas. But there's little doubt the head coach is pleased with the progression of his team, and gave examples of such in his post game comments after snapping a four-game skid against the Longhorns.

Huggins, below, discussed the Mountaineers' defensive changes, switching the rhythm of the game against a surging foe, the ability to finish of Devin Williams - both within the paint and at the line late - and gives his thoughts on the most significant differences between this game and the previous four in the series, all double-digit defeats for a team now within one game of a first place tie in the Big 12.
