Smith, who came on after Myers had gone well past the 100-pitch mark in the very definition of a long relief effort, talks about his performance, the pressures felt to maintain what Myers had started, and the feel of he mound and bullpen in the new park heading into the second game of the series today at 4 p.m.

Myers, who threw 7.2 innings and didn't allow an earned run, discusses his fastball, the ability to locate it and throw it for strikes, pushing past the tendency to be disappointed in an offense that struck out a season-high 17 times and what he enjoys about the new facility and the mound.
