West Virginia Football Offensive Drills

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - West Virginia's Ron Crook is known for dedication to craft and an attention to detail. The same truism holds true for Lonnie Galloway's wideouts, who, along with WVU's line, can be seen here working the ball security upon which the Mountaineers have harped during the offseason.

In this drill, take note of Crook's constant instruction and the ideal that a second wasted is indeed just that. Also listen in as he instructs arm location, extension and footwork as his charges go through even the most basic of drills.

Galloway, a former quarterback at Western Carolina, throws strikes to the backs receivers as they drill securing the catch and getting upfield. This is, as always in the first few days, the most fundamental of situations. But the adage of practice for perfection - even if unattainable - holds true as WVU begins to put the pieces together for the initial full side sessions, as well as the initial fall camp scrimmage.
