Gaynor(6-foot-5, 300 pounds) is currently enrolled at Dodge City Community College. He also claims offers from Kansas State, Houston, Iowa State, Southern Mississippi and Akron. In addition, both Arizona State and Kansas have shown significant interest over the last couple of months, and others may soon enter the fray.
The Mountaineers, who already hold verbal commitments from three offensive line prospects in the class of 2016, are intrigued with Gaynor’s quickness and athleticism. While he projects to play tackle in Division I, his versatility allows for the possibility to play the interior, too.
“I can run-block or pass-block pretty equally,” Gaynor recently told Scout.com
Gaynor is on pace to graduate in December and will have three years to play two following the 2015 season. Scout.com rates him a three-star prospect.
