More Looks At WVU's Camp

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Looks inside West Virginia's open practice Monday as the Mountaineers enter the final week of fall camp.

First, yet another defensive ball recover drill, where the line and linebackers are sliding onto the football in attempt to gain possession. They drill, under the watchful eye of coordinator Tony Gibson, moves to securing the ball off the bounce.

The quarterbacks, including William Crest (16), drill footwork and throwing while on the move in a brief session. Check the squared shoulders, the foot movement and the accuracy from multiple looks from each signal caller.

A lengthy look at the defensive line as the work hand placement and a rip move to get around opposing players. Position coaches Bruce Tall and Damon Cogdell oversee the action, with both giving instructions on grip, arm location and more.

And finally, a glimpse at wrapping a ball carrier, and the fits up into the run game and pursuit from the front and backside, including staying on the proper side of the shoulder in tracking an opponent.
