Bob Huggins pitted his staff, which he managed, against the players who were coached by baseball mentor Randy Mazey. After taking the lead in the first inning, the staff never looked back. Huggins' and his staff cruised to a 14-6 win. Of course, the focus of the game was not about the action on the diamond, but rather on raising money for the Norma Mae Huggins cancer Foundation, and also as another method of building camaraderie amongst the players.
Huggins discussed his team's skill on the diamond, and described what a few players asked Mazey before the game.
For his part, Mazey was impressed with both the staff and players. He described his friendship with Huggins, and provided a sneak peak at his own team's upcoming season.
