Kevin Kinder\ Podcast: Oklahoma vs West Virginia

West Virginia travels to Norman, Okla., this Saturday to face the Sooners, who have started the season hot. Will a strong defensive unit tag-teamed with a potent offense be enough to send WVU home with a win?

When West Virginia Mountaineers schedule was released it was apparent that the month of October was going to be rough. Three challenging road games really stood out. WVU will travel to Oklahoma Sooners, TCU and Baylor all in the month of October. It will be an uphill battle for the Mountaineers, and could determine the broad outcome of the season.

First up, Oklahoma.

The Sooners have found success with transfer quarterback Baker Mayfield and new offensive coordinator Lincoln Riley. Mayfield has added up over 1,000 passing yards and scored four rushing tochdowns. He is versatile, and could create problems for Tony Gibson's West Virginia defensive unit. The Mountaineers will have their hands full with a slew of Oklahoma weapons including running back Samaje Perine and wide receiver Sterling Shepard.

On this week's podcast, CJ Harvey and Connor Murray break down Mayfield and his supporting cast.
