Dana Holgorsen tried to reason with West Virginia's latest defeat, a 40-10 setback at No. 5 TCU.

FORT WORTH, Texas - The issues were many, the explanations few as head coach Dana Holgorsen reviewed West Virginia's lopsided defeat at TCU.

The reasons for West Virginia's loss are obvious. What aren't are the solutions to issues which haven't just plagued the team this season, but become a bit endemic to the program as a whole. The penalties, lack of offensive consistency, secondary coverage, ability to establish the running game, and perhaps the ability to go a calendar month without three losses - which the Mountaineers have done in fivetimes in the last four seasons. Dana Holgorsen, above, dissects the latest dissection, a fourth consecutive loss and third straight on the road, all by at least 20 points.

Holgorsen discussed the running game of both WVU and TCU, the inability to get home with pressure, the plethora of injuries to the defense, Isaiah Bruce's move to defensive end, the problems with drops by the wideouts and more in the latest of discouraging postgames.
