A Lighthearted Coach Huggins Assessed West Virginia's Big Win Over Rival Virginia Tech

BLACKSBURG, Va. - Jevon Carter had a game high 18 points to lead West Virginia over rival Virginia Tech. Coach Bob Huggins expressed his feelings about the team's win, and how they prepare to move forward into conference play.

West Virginia never trailed in their 25-point victory over Virginia Tech, in front of a pretty even mix of both fanbases. Although coach Bob Huggins did not acklowdege the West Virginia crowd, they were heard, and definetely made an impact. WVU forced 22 turnovers, which was a season high for Virginia Tech. But the Mountaineers gave the ball away 17 times themseleves, which is what Huggins pointed out as the most troublesome issue for this year's squad.

Now, West Virginia preps to open conference play with their first two games on the road at Kansas State and TCU. Huggins went into detail about the importance of limiting the team's turnovers, especially playing in what he calls the strongest conference in the country.
