Thoughts From West Virginia's 43-42 Cactus Bowl Win Over Arizona State

PHOENIX - West Virginia took the Cactus Bowl title, and the nod for best press conference, one in which head coach Dana Holgorsen again praised Skyler Howard and the 20 Mountaineer seniors.

When the Mountaineers (8-5) finally finished off Arizona State, there was a palpable sense of relief. The win marked the first bowl win as a Big 12 team, the first time WVU reached eight wins while members of the conference and gave the seniors, and Howard, a shot of confidence and accomplishment as both continue to move forward.
